How we review.

Clear labels make the difference between a useful profile and a first-hand review. We keep that line visible.

01

Independence

Camtable’s rankings and scores cannot be bought. Commercial relationships do not determine which places we cover or what we say about them.

02

Visits and payment

Scored reviews follow a completed visit. We pay the bill and visit anonymously when practical. If food, drink or access was provided, the disclosure appears prominently on the article.

03

Verified profiles

A profile can be published before a review when its practical information is useful and checked against authoritative sources. Profiles remain clearly labelled and unscored.

04

Scoring

Every rating is published out of 5. The overall score averages food, drink, service, atmosphere and value, and represents the reviewer’s experience on the stated visit date rather than a permanent verdict.

05

Accuracy

Addresses, prices, opening hours and accessibility details can change. We state when practical information was checked and link to the venue’s own site wherever possible.

06

Corrections

Material corrections are added to the article with the date and a short account of what changed.

07

Advertising

Camtable currently carries no advertising. Any future advertising or sponsored work will be labelled clearly and will not affect scores, rankings or inclusion.
